What You'll Do:

The Analyst position is responsible for ongoing analysis of business data; including syndicated media data, digital data, primary research studies, and client business metrics. It requires the ability to analyze marketing data from conceptualization through presentation of the data. Qualified candidates should demonstrate interest in working with statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS), learning new software packages (social media tools, data visualization, etc.), data analysis techniques, and applied statistics.  Candidates should also possess strong communication skills and an interest in applying analytical techniques to solving business challenges.
  • Mine advertising and business data for relevant and actionable insights
  • Analyze and identify key insights in relation to overall objectives of maximizing Marketing ROI
  • Create and present insights gleaned from performance and syndicated data to planning teams and clients
  • Analyze data to gain understanding of trends, behaviors and relationships
  • Working with account and client teams to identify and resolve issues that arise throughout the duration of a campaign with regards to data capture
  • Develop and execute processes for accurate data capture implementation across all assigned campaign projects
  • Manage and interact with ad-serving vendor(s) and campaign management team to ensure the system can deliver on proposed and advanced campaign metrics
  • Contribute to model building/development, interpretation of results and visualizations
  • Working with the media and analytics team to determine optimal metrics for developing insights into campaign effectiveness
  • Understand, translate, and provide POV for new sources/vendors/ opportunities for data collection
  • Clearly communicates key findings, issues and implementation requirements to media planning teams and media buying teams
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (statistics, economics, or business degrees preferred)
  • Masters degree desired
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets to create insights
  • Good knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., multiple regression, logistic regression, correspondence analysis, conjoint analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis, etc.) and experience or course work applying statistics to solving business problems
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to a nontechnical audience
  • Demonstrated interest in website analytics, social media analytics, or digital analytics
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with statistical software packages, especially SAS and SPSS, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
